Description:
We greatly appreciate the involvement and feedback from all those who participated in the multiple consultation and engagement meetings and provided their input on specific elements of the plan over the past few months. We invite you to continue your involvement through Phase Two of the consultation process by reviewing the draft plan and participating in a webinar on January 8, 2018.

During the webinar on January 8 we will answer questions, receive comments and discuss the following topics on the draft a-BBPP:
  • Definitions of obligated materials and obligated stewards
  • Payments to non-transitioned communities
  • Diversion targets (both general and material specific)
  • Transition process and timing for municipal and First Nations communities
  • Procurement of collection and post-collection services
  • Collection and management standards
  • Standard list of materials for collection
