Michael J Reed CPA, ABV, CFF, CFE

Mr. Reed is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with the credentials Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He currently works at RGL Forensics, a forensic accounting consulting firm providing financial consulting services domestically and internationally. The firm's consulting services include forensic accounting services in commercial, matrimonial and eminent domain as well as business valuation and general/litigation consulting services; all areas Mr. Reed is involved with.

Mr. Reed has over 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business operations. During this time, his responsibilities have ranged from financial auditing and examination to department oversight. Most recently, Mr. Reed worked in industry for a medical software provider and as an Internal Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. His responsibilities included handling technical accounting issues for revenue recognition and working with third-parties for tax reporting. While at the IRS, Mr. Reed was responsible for conducting numerous field examinations in the Small Business/Self Employed Division encompassing a wide range of industries.
