With TetraMAX II, Synopsys’ next-generation ATPG and diagnostics solution, pattern generation has been re-engineered to deliver unprecedented speed and efficiency. Following a brief introduction of the product, our guest speaker describes STMicroelectronics’ motivation to achieve faster ATPG turnaround time for high defect-coverage manufacturing tests, and shares his evaluation results. Synopsys then shows how breakthrough “iCube” technology in TetraMAX II generates fewer patterns and enables order-of-magnitude faster runtime than existing solutions.

Roberto Mattiuzzo
SoC Integration and DFT Methodologies Manager, STMicroelectronics

Roberto Mattiuzzo is part of the Digital and Mixed Processes ASIC division in STMicroelectronics and manages the SoC Integration and DFT methodologies group. He has worked in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years, holding several management positions in product business units and R&D organizations. Roberto leads a group focused on front-end and DFT methodology development and related execution in complex, high-density ASIC products.


Wolfgang Meyer
Director R&D, Synopsys

Wolfgang Meyer is part of the Synopsys R&D team and is a Director in the Design Group business unit. He has held various engineering and management positions in synthesis and test. Wolfgang’s current focus is on automatic test pattern generation, diagnostics and validation.


Chris Allsup
Senior Staff Technical Marketing Manager, Synopsys

Chris Allsup, Marketing Manager of synthesis and test in Synopsys’ Design Group business unit, has more than 20 years combined experience in IC design, field applications, sales and marketing. Chris has authored numerous articles and papers on design and test.
