The Millennial Coffee Drinker and the Role of Sustainability

Coffee-drinking millennials—consumers ages 18 to 34—represent untapped opportunities and have the potential to make coffee an integral part of their lifelong consumption patterns. These attributes make millennials a highly attractive market, but in order to best reach them, we need to understand how they perceive and talk about coffee.

Summarizing findings from recent proprietary research, conducted by Datassential for S&D Coffee & Tea, this webinar examines trends around millennials, their "coffee language" and their understanding of coffee sustainability.

In this webinar, attendees will:

  • Learn how millennials perceive and talk about coffee, specifically what attributes they associate with quality
  • Better understand the impact of sustainability and third-party certifications on millennials and how to leverage them
  • Gain a new way to think about the coffee industry and insight into how it might lead to updated sales strategies and marketing communications for restaurants
