Martha Garner
Managing Director

Martha Garner is the leader within PwC’s national office for technical accounting and financial reporting matters pertaining to the education, healthcare, not-for-profit, and governmental arenas. Martha is a widely recognized thought leader in working with standard-setting organizations on accounting, reporting, and disclosure initiatives affecting these sectors. She has served on numerous AICPA, FASB, and GASB task forces and committees, and currently represents PwC on the AICPA's Healthcare Expert Panel and Healthcare Audit Guide Task Force. She is a contributing author for Montgomery’s Auditing, the Accountants’ Handbook, and the Financial and Accounting Guide for Not-for-Profit Organizations, and has authored numerous articles and publications.

Emily Rando
Senior Manager

Emily is a senior manager with 9+ years of experience in assurance for both public and private companies primarily in the healthcare, higher education and bio-tech industries. Emily is currently on a two year tour in the National Office within the Accounting Services Group focusing on accounting and reporting issues specifically related to the healthcare and not for profit industries. Prior to her tour in the National Office, Emily's clients include both domestic as well as international entities.

Jessica Zamora
Senior Manager

Jessica is a senior manager with 11+ years of public accounting experience. She is currently on tour in the National Office and is focused on technical accounting and financial reporting matters related to education, healthcare, not-for-profit, and governmental arenas. Prior to her tour, Jessica served multi-entity heath care systems, continuing care retirement communities, for-profit hospice care facilities and long-term care providers PwC’s healthcare provider sector. In addition, she has experience performing audits under the OMB Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement, as well as, audits of employee benefit plans. Jessica graduated in 2003 from Syracuse University (SU) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Finance and received her Master's Degree in Accounting from SU in 2004. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Maryland, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Meredith Wasko
Senior Manager

Meredith Wasko is a Senior Manager in PwC’s assurance practice. She has ten years of experience providing services to healthcare providers, health insurers and not-for-profit entities. Meredith obtained a BBA and MS in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a licensed CPA in Massachusetts. She is currently on a two-year tour in PwC’s national office focusing on technical accounting and financial reporting matters relating to the education, healthcare, not-for-profit, and governmental industries.
