Mastering Power Integrity

Why this webcast is important
Power integrity is important to the entire system performance and consists of much more than power distribution noise. This webcast provides an understanding of power integrity, why it is important, how to design for it, and it teaches techniques for high-fidelity simulation, analysis and measurement. The goal is to enable you to better isolate, troubleshoot, and optimize power related issues.

Who should attend
PCB designers, VRM designers, signal integrity engineers, power integrity engineers and anyone involved in PDN design will receive an introduction to power integrity and the latest tips and techniques for flat impedance designs.

Steve Sandler is the founder and former CEO of AEi Systems, a company specializing in the design, troubleshooting and worst case analysis of high reliability satellite & power electronic systems. He is also the CEO of Picotest.com, a company that designs and distributes test accessories related to power system measurement. He is the author of several power related book including his most recent book "Power Integrity Measuring, Optimizing and Troubleshooting Power Systems a frequent contributor to EDN and the recipient of the 2015 Jim Williams Contributor of the Year ACE Award. He has produced several recent videos, articles and presentations on target impedance and rogue waves.

Heidi Barnes is a Senior Application Engineer for High Speed Digital applications in Keysight EEsof EDA.  Her recent activities include the application of electromagnetic, transient, and channel simulators to solve the challenges of high speed SERDES and parallel bus communication links. Past experience includes 6 years in signal integrity for ATE test fixtures for Verigy, an Advantest Group, 6 years in RF/Microwave microcircuit packaging for Agilent Technologies, and 10 years with NASA in the aerospace industry.
Heidi graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. She has been with Keysight EDA since 2012.
