Brian Zive is the lead data analyst in Resource Development at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he works on a range of projects that bring fundraising data to life. Brian is competent in all phases of data mining, and he enjoys investigating complex questions through the application of descriptive and predictive quantitative analysis. Brian fancies himself a data scientist, having earned a certificate in the Johns Hopkins Data Science specialization on Coursera in 2015. His analytical toolbox includes Excel, R, SPSS, SQL, and Tableau. Brian has worked in development since 1999, which is appropriate since his last name rhymes with the word "give".
