Creating Age-Friendly Communities: Resources for Your Local Government


Local governments around the country are faced with the challenge and opportunity to think differently about how to support their aging populations. This 60-minute webinar will:
  • Provide an overview of the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities as a tool for local leaders
  • Describe how communities can enroll in the Network
  • Showcase how several ICMA communities have used the Network to become more livable for residents of all ages

Attendees will leave the webinar with concrete ideas for how to get started or enhance their efforts to be age-friendly.
