Despite the intensive amount of resources that certification requires, it’s nothing in comparison to the cost of something missed.

Based on studies from Boeing and Airbus, the size and complexity of avionics software continues to grow significantly. The current rate of software growth is pacing 400 percent every two years. The challenges presented by this phenomenal growth are crystallized by the sobering realization that all the new software will need to comply with DO-178B’s more rigorous successor, DO-178C, Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification.

This webinar will discuss methodologies, tools and subject matter expertise as means to achieve successful certifications for software suppliers. Included in the webinar are how test and verification and simulation tools can be used to help address credit for objectives in DO-178C and DO-330.

Speakers:
Joe Wlad – Sr. Director, Product Management, Avionics Safety, Wind River
Shan Bhattacharya – Business Development Manager, LDRA
