Women are graduating from accounting programs across the country in higher percentages than ever before. They are the future of our profession, but they hold only a small fraction of the current leadership positions in the industry. The need to attract and retain women in the profession is undeniable. In this webcast, presenter Nina Chmura, a senior manager at WithumSmith + Brown, will discuss the current landscape of women in the profession and cover the business case for women’s initiatives. This presentation will also examine the unique challenges women are facing, as well as focusing on the strength that women can bring to the profession, particularly in leadership roles. Knowledge is the key to retention, and keeping the women graduates today engaged in the profession will create a better future for the industry as a whole.
