US GAAP & IFRS convergence series: 2011 US IFRS outlook survey results
 This presentation is no longer available.
  Overview:

The SEC expects to make a decision later this year about whether, when, and how IFRS should be incorporated into the US financial reporting system. Ahead of the SEC decision, PwC has launched the US IFRS outlook survey to canvass a range of constituents' views on what they think would best serve the interests of preparers, investors and other users of financial statements.

On this webcast, we will review the results of our survey and provide PwC's point of view. We will begin with a recap of recent developments, and close with some recommendations regarding next steps. We encourage you to attend in order to hear what other companies are doing – or thinking – in regard to IFRS.

Speakers on our webcast panel will:
  • Provide a brief update on the status of IFRS in the US;
  • Summarize results to survey questions;
  • Discuss recommended next steps; and
  • Answer questions during a Q&A session.
