Overview:
Recently, there has been an uptick in activity pertaining to the future of IFRS in the U.S. The SEC hosted a roundtable on July 7, soliciting the views of small and large companies, investors and accounting firms. In May, the SEC issued a Staff Paper exploring a possible method of incorporating IFRS in the U.S. Join us as we share updates from these and other recent developments pertaining to IFRS and the FASB / IASB priority convergence projects. Attendees will hear PwC's point of view and recommended next steps.
Speakers on our webcast panel will:
Summarize recent developments regarding IFRS in the U.S.
Provide a brief update on timing and status of priority convergence projects (leasing, revenue recognition, financial instruments, and insurance);
Discuss recommended next steps; and
Answer as many of your questions as possible during a Q&A session.
Participants will gain a heightened understanding of recent developments pertaining to IFRS in the U.S. and the priority convergence projects, along with what their companies should be doing as a result.
