About this Clinical Webinar

In 2012, the University of Ulm in Germany established a high-end hybrid operating room in their Center for Surgery. Trauma, neuro, vascular as well as cardiac surgeons share the new operating room which combines the most-recent robotic 3D imaging system Artis zeego by Siemens with a modern OR table by Trumpf.

Three leading surgeons from the University of Ulm report on their experience in sharing one operating room with multiple disciplines to ease the investment of high-end capital equipment.
  • Making the hybrid OR busy and cost effective – the multidisciplinary approach at the Center for Surgery in Ulm
Prof. Dr. Florian Gebhard, Director Center for Surgery and Director Department for Orthopedic Trauma, Hand and Reconstructive Surgery

  • Neurosurgical indications in a multidisciplinary used Hybrid OR.
Prof. Dr. Wirtz, Director Department for Neurosurgery

  • Neurosurgeons in a hybrid operating room: sense and non-sense of robotic 2D and 3D imaging
Prof. Dr. Ralf König, Head Division Ulm of the Department for Neurosurgery
