Speaker Summary


Rachele Collins, Ph.D., SPHR, SHRM-CP Principal Research Lead, financial management, APQC

As principal research lead, Rachele Collins is responsible for APQC’s best practices research in financial management, including the development of the research agenda, working with partners and alliances, serving our members, presenting thought leadership, and developing new relationships and connections. She has conducted benchmarking research and worked to help clients improve their processes and practices for nearly two decades.

Before this role, Rachele worked as a senior research analyst for human capital and knowledge management at APQC, driving the creation of research-based content, and creating compelling and actionable articles, benchmark findings, best practice reports and blogs. She brought keen insights to this research through her doctoral work and industry certifications.

Rachele has extensive experience in quality and benchmarking techniques, and has served as an awards examiner at the state level for the Texas Awards for Performance Excellence and the local level for the Houston Better Business Torch Awards. She is an experienced consultant, author and trainer with focused competency in project management, benchmarking, writing, client facilitation, measurement, process improvement, change management and organizational development.


Elissa Tucker, Principal Research Lead, Human Capital Management, APQC

Building on more than 15 years of experience in human resources research, writing and advising, Elissa Tucker develops and executes APQC’s human capital management (HCM) research agenda. She has completed numerous research studies and reports on such topics as leadership; talent optimization; human resources trends; recruiting and hiring; training and development; performance management; and talent management.

She is a regular contributor for APQC’s blog on topics for human capital management and organizes monthly webinars on HCM topics for APQC members and subscribers. Some of her more popular research reports include Reviving Leadership Capabilities, The Leadership Deficit and Technical Talent Management. She often partners with other APQC research leads to develop joint projects on topics such as promoting dynamic leadership in the supply chain, how to narrow the leadership gap in finance, or how knowledge management supports successful leaders.


Moderated by: Ash Noah - CPA, CGMA, is Managing Director, CGMA Learning, Education and Development, at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.

In this role, he focuses on introducing, promoting and widening awareness of the Chartered Global Management Accountant® (CGMA®) designation among organizations worldwide.
