Proactive Application Performance Management: An end-to-end approach
Being proactive is the key to successful Application Performance Management (APM). Yet IT organizations usually don’t know about poor user experience until a complaint arrives at the service desk. Forrester and Compuware have teamed up on an informative webcast on end-to-end APM and improving incident and problem management.

The webcast develops insights derived from a Compuware-sponsored survey of 389 global IT decision makers, conducted by Forrester, which found that reactive, fire-fighting approaches held back effective APM. The topics covered include:

  • why end-user experience monitoring is critical to APM
  • how to avoid war-room scenarios and improve the problem-resolution process
  • how to improve communication between various technology groups and their business counterparts
  • why end-to-end visibility across both mainframe and distributed environments is critical to APM.
