Mr. DeMarco joined IBM in the United States in 1980. Early in his career he held numerous operational and management positions associated with large scale information technology centers serving IBM in North America. He has also been responsible for managing the overall business relationship with one of IBM's largest worldwide clients, advising them on how they can gain competitive advantage through the targeted deployment of information technology and processes. In 1998, Mr. DeMarco joined IBM Business Continuity and Recovery Services as the IBM Executive responsible for worldwide strategy, business development, and offering development. As Director of Marketing and Segment Management, he focused on the strategy and business development domains, in addition to operational deployment and execution in the America's marketplace.
