Duration
45 minutes + 15 minutes audience Q&A

Overview
Cable operators and competitive carriers are quickly expanding their data networks beyond residential broadband access to support IP video, business services, mobile backhaul, and cable WiFi. New alternative technologies ‒ including remote physical layer (PHY), remote media access control (MAC), passive optical networking (PON), virtual converged cable access platform (CCAP), and China-DOCSIS (C-DOCSIS) ‒ are emerging with the goal of delivering these advanced services more efficiently than current cable modem termination system (CMTS), DOCSIS, and edge quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM). These new technologies are expected to push fiber and IP deeper, reducing service group size and making cable broadband networks more efficient and better equipped to handle the flood of data services.

This webinar explores how cable operators can approach distributed architectures, including an in-depth look at the impact of new IP services on the network and the new technologies that are changing the way cable networks are built.

Who Should Attend
MSOs, cable operators, competitive carriers, financial analysts, and the media.

Complimentary Report
