Solutions to Build a Secure, Intelligent, Resilient Network
This presentation will be available to audience members until September 10, 2014 at 01:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

Thursday, June 12, 2014 - 12:00 p.m. EDT

Demands on today’s networks are rapidly growing in both scale and complexity. To support missions that operate in a dynamic environment while at the same time supporting trusted, reliable, and secure communications requires new technologies, and new solutions. In this webinar you will learn about the technologies that are powering the next generation of networks and enabling them to support new high speed communications services and solutions for the warfighter. The following elements of a secure, intelligent, resilient network will be covered:

Capabilities unleashed by coherent optical processors: 100G growing to 1Tbps per wave

New optical switching techniques enabling dynamic control of the waves in a network

Packet Optical technology enables Layers 0 through 2 of the network to be converged, providing a single network element type for DWDM, OTN, and Ethernet services.

How a dynamic optical network can be leveraged using control plane and Software Defined Networking (SDN).

Securing your network with wire-speed encryption

New services and solutions enabled by next generation networks

  • Fiber Intrusion Detection
  • Cyber Defense
  • Dynamic bandwidth from the access through the core
