  Your Roadmap for Energy Management

First Stop - Myths & Realities of Energy Purchasing

This event was recorded on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.

As an energy supplier to over 21,000 customers on the East Coast, Hess Account Managers offer daily insight to the many customers we serve. Some of the most common misconceptions that we encounter concern supplier options, best product choice, and managing the market. Hess seeks to help buyers separate myth from reality on common issues when it comes to energy purchasing to enable them to make the best decisions for their business.

Join Hess, DNV KEMA Energy and Sustainability, and Energy Manager Today for a one-hour energy management webinar.

Bill Kenworthy, Hess’ Director of Regional Operations, will help you understand that not all suppliers are the same and provide the pros and cons of each of the key players (marketer, broker, consultant, etc) in the industry. Through reviewing the most common customer concerns, he will answer the frequently asked question of whether fixed price is truly the best option and how to pick the best product for your needs. Lastly, he’ll blow away the myth that it is time consuming to manage your energy, by offering some quick, easy, and free tips on how to be more engaged with the market. This webinar will debunk common myths to show you how to engage with the best providers that offer flexible products and timely market insights to achieve the most for your energy spend.

This roadmap allows organizations to systematically manage energy risks, understand consumption patterns and cost analytics, and evaluate procurement and generation options into a unified enterprise-level strategy. The business value of such an enterprise approach is clear: reduce risks to business operations, identify and manage energy costs and directly link energy metrics to shareholder value.
