From cotton seed to consumer, the entire supply chain continues to implement technologies and practices that reduce cotton’s environmental footprint in global textile and apparel manufacturing, particularly in the wet processing of cotton fabrics where more water, energy and chemicals are used compared to other processes.
This webinar shares some of the leading edge technologies that can help you and your supply chain reduce water, energy and chemical (WEC) usage preparing your cotton products in three major categories: chemical selections, equipment options, and process management for both exhaust and continuous application.
In addition to all the details you need to know about these technologies, our experts will also share ways to implement these technologies and actually lower your operating costs – which also means improving your profit! While some of these technologies require no or little capital expense, others involve modification of existing equipment or the purchase of new equipment – and the information provided will help you decide what is best for your business!
Cotton Incorporated continues to work with the global textile industry to reduce their WEC footprint, to maintain a cost-effective operation and to produce quality cotton products for the consumer. Hopefully, this webinar will inspire you to find new ways to become more sustainable and more profitable. No matter where your business falls on the cotton supply chain, our experts are always here to help.
