Mike Tyndall is charged with coordinating internal and external technical services and research projects throughout the supply chain from fiber processing to dyeing and finishing as Managing Director of Product Development and Implementation at Cotton Incorporated. Mike has a B.S. in Textile Chemistry and a Master of Textiles, both from North Carolina State University where he was also an Adjunct Industrial-Associate at Textile Extension and Applied Research, College of Textiles, until 2005. A Senior Member since 1976 and a past chair of several committees, Mike is the President-elect of American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC).

Michele L. Wallace was named the Associate Director of Product Integrity in Product Development and Implementation at Cotton Incorporated in 2010. Previously, she had worked in Finishing Research since 1998. As part of the Finishing Research team, Michele had conducted research in all areas of functional finishing of cotton, including flame retardants, antimicrobials, and fluorochemicals. She is a member of ASTM International, the American Chemical Society, and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, in which she is chair of the Flammability Technology committee and the Water Resistance, Absorbency, and Wetting Agent Evaluation Test Methods committee. Michele is certified by the National Registry of Certified Chemists as a Chemical Hygiene Officer. She received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and in Textile Chemistry and her Master of Science degree in Textile Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
